Lena Glaser served as Communications & Strategy Associate, where she worked cross-programmatically with a focus on redistricting. She was responsible for the Center’s weekly general newsletter, and helped edit and write other program newsletters. She supervised the edit and design process for all publications, and was involved with publication roll-out strategies and organizing media plans. She organized press, wrote press releases, and liaised with the media and reporters. Lena also worked on building Facebook participation and reach. She joined the Brennan Center in May 2013. She previously worked for Planned Parenthood Federation of America, and is an op-ed blogger for The Times of Israel.
A 2010 graduate of Wellesley College with a BA in Peace & Justice Studies and Religion, Lena was awarded a post graduate fellowship to work in Israel with the first women's rights NGO & law firm, The Israel Women's Network. While in Israel, she earned an MA in Diplomacy and Conflict Studies from the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) Herzliya.
