
Kelly Williams
Ms. Williams serves as internal general counsel, responsible for board relations, legal, tax and ethics compliance and oversight of our pro bono law firms. She also advises various programs at the Center on corporate, non-profit, tax, disclosure and ethics law matters and writes for our blog ReformNY. This will be the fifth year Ms. Williams has organized the Brennan Center Jorde Symposium.
Prior to working at the Center, she was an associate in corporate finance at Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton, counsel at UBS Securities, Inc., and general counsel and director of programs at a national community development financial institution.
She is a graduate of Tufts University and New York University School of Law. Ms. Williams is a member of the board of directors of SCO Family of Services, New York State’s largest human services organization, where she also serves on the development, executive compensation, finance and audit committees. She is also secretary of the Brennan Center board of directors and serves on the board of the Brennan Center Strategic Fund, Inc.
