Brennan Center for Justice

Jafreen is the Events Coordinator, managing all of the Brennan Center’s special events and conferences. She originally joined the Brennan Center in 2008 as Executive Assistant to the Democracy Program. Prior to joining the Brennan Center, she worked at the Annual Meeting of the Clinton Global Initiative. Outside of the Brennan Center, Jafreen is an Editor for Aslan Media and also serves on the board for the NYC Chapter of the Muslim Public Affairs Council. She received her B.A. in Political Economics with a concentration in South Asian/Middle Eastern Studies from Barnard College, Columbia University in 2007 and her M.A. in Global Histories from NYU's Graduate School of Arts & Science in 2011.
