Brennan Center for Justice

Desiree Ramos Reiner joined the Brennan Center as Deputy Director for Communications and Strategy in December 2011. In this role she helps to manage and shape the organization’s communications strategy for its advocacy campaigns. Prior to joining the Brennan Center, Desiree was a member of the Public Affairs team at The Port Authority of NY & NJ. She previously served as Press Secretary for United States Senator Robert Menendez, where she produced hundreds of events and acted as a bilingual spokesperson, while leading community outreach efforts with ethnic and grassroots groups. Desiree is a proud graduate of Columbia University.
