
Bonnie Ernst
Bonnie Ernst joined the Brennan Center in 2010 as a Research Associate in the Democracy Program. Her work at the Center focused on Redistricting and the Right to Vote projects. Bonnie has a B.A. degree in History from the University of Chicago and a Masters degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Oxford. She had previous internships at the Illinois Violence Prevention Authority in Chicago and the Coalition against Trafficking in Women and Children in Mexico City. Bonnie also worked as a paralegal at the Equal Justice Initiative in Montgomery, AL, a non-profit organization that provides legal representation for indigent defendants, inmates with wrongful convictions, and people who were denied fair treatment within the criminal justice system.
