Alexandra Ringe joined the Brennan Center’s Communications and Strategy team in August 2018. She brings more than 25 years of experience in journalism, publishing, and nonprofit communications. Most recently, she led press campaigns for the ACLU’s work on criminal justice. At the Brennan Center, her focus is media relations.
Alexandra has written for Bookforum, The New York Times Magazine, and Rolling Stone, among other publications. She edited the book Rough Draft: Pop Culture the Way It Almost Was, as well as the Readings section of Harper’s Magazine. She graduated from Wesleyan University.
