Bestselling author, public interest lawyer, and former New York City Public Advocate Mark Green guides us through contemporary American politics in his new book Bright, Infinite Future: A Generational Memoir on the Progressive Rise. Green's book explains how tidal trends from the '60s to '16 -- both political and demographic -- will affect the outcome of this election. Then on November 9th, there will be two consequential questions, as his book anticipates: What will happen to a deeply divided Republican Party? And what will the next administration bring? Will it be transactional – or transformative? Joined by the Brennan Center’s Victoria Bassetti, Green will give us the behind-the-scenes take on the progressive movement and his predictions for the coming election.

Join the Brennan Center, Common Cause New York, New York Public Interest Research Group, and Citizens Union for a discussion about this new book.
