Molly Alarcon

Molly Alarcon is the Policy Associate in the Brennan Center’s Washington, DC office, where she works to advance Brennan Center policy priorities in Congress. In addition to providing support for the Director and Chief Counsel of the Washington office, Molly meets with other civil rights, social justice, and democracy organizations in DC to develop policy goals and share information critical to advancing civil rights in federal policy and regulations. Molly’s work in the DC office focuses on racial and criminal justice advocacy and reform, voting rights, and ex-felon enfranchisement.

Prior to joining the Brennan Center, Molly worked at Greenberg Quinlan Rosner Research, a polling and political consulting firm founded by former Clinton political advisors. Molly graduated phi beta kappa from Princeton University with a degree in public policy. Her senior thesis on the representation of women and minorities in the federal judiciary received honors from Princeton’s Law and Public Affairs program and the Center for African American Studies. In college, Molly interned with then Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, the Voting Section of the Department of Justice, and the National Fair Housing Alliance.
