Emily Harris
Executive Assistant to the Vice President for Programs
Emily Harris joined the Brennan Center in January 2012 as the Executive Assistant to the Vice President for Programs. Previously, Emily worked on issues of criminal justice, civil right to counsel, and religious discrimination as an Intern for the Brennan Center’s Justice and Liberty and National Security Programs. Prior to joining the Brennan Center, she worked as a kindergarten tutor in low-income elementary schools. Emily received her B.A. in Religious and Political Philosophy from the Gallatin School of Individualized Study at New York University where she focused on Welfare State policies.
