Article reports that, at a recent conference in Washington, D.C., Justice Antonin Scalia criticized the news media saying that "[t]he media often make it appear as though the court is reaching policy judgments on its own rather than basing its decision on the text of the law at issue in a case." Speaking to a group of food and drug regulatory law attorneys, Scalia said that in some instances, "the news media leave the impression that no ruling based on the text of a law "is even possible.""
