Emily Berman Participates in Panel Discussion on Material Support for Terrorism Law

Emily Berman participated in a panel discussion hosted by the Charity & Security Network on the law prohibiting material support for terrorism. Entitled "The Humanitarian Law Project Decision: Problems for Peacebuilding, Aid, and Free Speech One Year Later," other panelists included Joel Charny, Vice President for Humanitarian Policy and Practice at InterAction; Nathan Stock, Assistant Director of the Conflict Resolution Program at The Carter Center; Kay Guinane, Director at the Charity & Security Network; Naz Modirzadeh, Associate Director of the Program on Humanitarian Policy and Conflict Research at Harvard University.
